AUS Visiting Faculty Residence

The project features walls that are designed like fabric with varying spacings and orientations to create different atmospheres and allow for natural light and air flow. The architecture has two main volumes with opposing atmospheres of being introverted vs. extroverted and shaded vs. illuminated, representing dual weather conditions. A third, in-between volume snakes between the two sides, featuring different materials and experiences that allow hints of either experience to show.
